Volunteering at FACES

Volunteers are the heart and hands of FACES. We know how valuable your time is, and we cherish it.

FACES accepts volunteers Thursdays 9:30 - 12:00p.m. for unloading the truck, and 5:00 - 6:15p.m. for bagging activities. If you are coming on Saturday as a group of more than five people, please call the facility one of the above times at 392-6277 first, as we often have too many volunteers on a Saturday.

FACES operates:

Thursdays: 9:30 am - Noon & 5:00 pm. - 6:15 pm

Saturday  7:30 am - 10:00 am

You may be wondering what exactly you'll be doing:

On Fridays, FACES receives shipments from food banks.  Occasionally the food arrives in an 18 wheeler shipment truck. We need volunteers to help unload these trucks. We also prepare some bags of dry goods in preparation for Saturday.

On Saturdays, FACES gives bags to clients. Volunteers fill bags with dry or frozen goods, or they carry bags to the client's cars, as many clients are elderly.
