Qualifications for Receiving a Bag of Food

FACES serves the Prince Edward County area. Since it is difficult to determine if an address is in the county or not, we rely on zip codes as a means to qualify clients for service. We use any zip code that has some part in Prince Edward County. As you can see from the map below, this allows families from Keysville, Burkeville, and even Charlotte Courthouse to register. Because Cumberland, Buckingham, and Dillwyn are not in the service area, they are not able to receive food.
 
In addition to area qualification, client families must meet and prove income  qualifications based on USDA guidelines. These guidelines are based on family income and size. If you would like more information on how to receive FACES food, please contact:

What do qualifying families receive?

A household with 1-3 family members receives 1 bag.

A household with 4-6 family members receives 2 bags.

A household with more than 6 family members receives 3 bags.
